Young Adults & Adults Many of the Young Adults and Adults we work with have multiple and complex needs. At YSS we give those we work with practical and emotional support to help them break through barriers (real and perceived) and to achieve their potential. A dedicated YSS worker provides a holistic and personalised approach to ensure consistent and joined up support. Our services are delivered flexibly; we will meet people in the local community, including their homes, if appropriate, or anywhere they feel comfortable. Our support will change and adapt according to whatever is happening in someone’s life; we meet people at times that are convenient for them which includes evenings and weekends. Partnership working is key. At YSS we signpost people to other services by giving them high quality information and guidance to ensure they can get ongoing support. We will also work with other professionals they may be involved with, such as a Probation Officer or Substance Misuse Worker, to ensure we are all working together to support people to achieve positive changes in their life. We are persistent, we do not give up and we will always go the extra mile to achieve the best possible outcomes for those we are working with. Safeguarding: YSS is committed to ensuring that children, young people and adults at risk who come into contact with YSS staff and volunteers are treated with respect, and are free from all forms of abuse or mistreatment. We have comprehensive safeguarding policies which are reviewed annually. The designated member of staff responsible for safeguarding is Angela Parton, Operations Director, [email protected]. The most recent Safeguarding policy is available to read and download, here. Chrysalis Veterans #MORSE
